democrats still champions of anti-free speech

wouldn`t you know it! the same party that wants to legislate our "right" to hire people who`s views conflict (or even contradict) our own personal convictions and the same party that authored the "grass roots gag order", the very party that invented "free speech zones" is at it again.

according to the modern democratic/neo-liberal belief system - denver DNC delegates should not have to be inconvenienced by the uncivil discord and unruly dissent coming from the wild savages/"citizens".

safely contained in the distance by fences (and no doubt the para-military police clad in full body armor and the occasional brandishing of an assault rifle or two - ah yes, America...), the convention delegates can go in and deny reality by pretending that everything is wonderful and everyone is all smiles..

Free Speech Zones are Back!

The Empire of 9/11 - they still just don`t get it

how does the average American still not comprehend the notion that occupying muslim holy lands and building bases in their region will not make us safer?

how do people still slurp down the mindless swill about our freedom being under attack from angry muslims who hate us because we have lots of cheap made-in-china goods in our ugly box stores?

does anyone really still believe that the muslims hate our freedoms when we`re the ones who can`t pray in school? when we`re the ones who have to be strip searched at the airport? we`re the ones watching old people being tased to death by police? we`re the ones having our doors busted in by government "strike teams" in the midsts of natural disasters? when we`re the ones whose kids are so nonchalantly fed government endorsed medications to make them more docile and easier to manage in a prison/public school system?

i`m getting pissed off about the stupidity that`s so common today.

we are going into generation crossing debt to establish a military outpost in the Middle East. we are going into generation crossing debt to secure a large military base in South America, aka: Columbia.

we are the empire of 9/11 and no one gets it. why do we allow the media to continue to puke out their nonsense from our TVs every night after slaving away to fund the military expansion campaign endorsed by BOTH of the fake political partys? a revolution is well past due.

America vs. The Police State - Iowa Another Example of Martial Law Tactics

it has happened again. the police have taken advantage of a natural disaster and used the ensuing chaos, fear and turmoil to their advantage - this time in Iowa.

Government Strike Teams Break Doors and Threaten Flood Victims

as many people already know (amazingly many still do NOT know), the police in New Orleans began confiscating firearms from residents who were trapped in the city after Katrina destroyed roads and bridges. armed with assault weapons themselves, police would approach private residences, knock on the door and demand that citizens turn over all firearms or face arrest for non-compliance.

this blatant disregard for the US Constitution, which so many have died for, caused panic even in the minds of sane liberals. in a basically lawless city with overwhelmed law enforcement there is a definate need to be able to take care of yourself and protect whatever is left of your property and family from criminals who have absolutely no intention of talking to police OR handing over their guns. anyone with an ounce of sense can see that snatching guns from law abiding citizens in times of great tragedy is simply beyond foolish - unless your goal is to perpetuate and exploit the chaos. then it works great.

if you don`t know what really happened in New Orleans please take the time to inform yourself here.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

do the police even know there is a Constitution anymore or do they just assume we`re all to dumb to know about it?

McCain reveals ultra-left/neo-con leanings in recent GITMO comments

By now, it is widely known that the Supreme Court has weighed in on the debate over the rights of the prisoners at Gitmo. The court has stated that the detainees’ habeas corpus rights (the protection against an indefinite detention without charges and a trial) ought to be respected.

Referring to the human beings who are still being detained at Guantanamo Bay, McCain stated, "These are people who are not citizens. They do not and never have been given the rights that citizens in this country have".

So our rights are given to us? Interesting.

I might ask McCain at the out-set, since you apparently believe that only citizens have rights (presumably "given" to them in the Constitution) where exactly in text of the Constitution does the Constitution give this right the right of habeas corpus?

You won’t find it. The Constitution only puts limits on the removal of habeas corpus, which implies that human beings possess this right naturally, and that habeas corpus is not some peculiar civil privilege, such as welfare, or some right that only citizens have, such as voting in our elections.

Similarly, human beings possess the rights in the Bill of Rights naturally, and as such, government is prevented from infringing upon them in the first ten amendments to the Constitution. But the rights are not granted by the government or the Constitution; we already had the rights as human beings!

I recommend that McCain read the Declaration of Independence. He has admitted that he is ignorant of economics, so perhaps he needs to brush up on his political theory and History, as well.

The Declaration of Independence declares the self-evident truth that God gave us our rights and that we are "endowed by our creator" with "unalienable rights," such as, "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

Unalienable. Can’t be taken away. God-given natural rights. This is extremely important. Pay attention.

You see, if governments have "given" you "rights," well then guess who can take them away at their will. Governments! McCain’s dangerous philosophy of rights as privileges is a recipe for tyranny. Government gives us our liberty? Is he serious? Well then that makes the state our god.

In reality, when something is granted, it is not a right at all. Something that is granted is, by nature, a mere privilege that can be revoked upon the whim of the entity which granted it--in this case, government...a scary notion, indeed.

A right, on the other hand, is unalienably possessed by somebody because he is the rightful owner of his life, liberty, and property. His own body, his thoughts, his decisions to move about, his money and possessions, etc.

These rights are his naturally. They are his property.

Rights are rooted in ownership of the property in question, and this very concept is God-ordained, thus we say that our rights are "God-given."

They are NOT granted by government. They are NOT merely a privilege of citizenship.

Under the American philosophy of government where our rights are natural, or God-given, we have the power of free action that is limited only by the equal rights of others. And only when we impede upon the rights of others can government legitimately intervene to punish the criminal aggressor...and it can only do that through due process (they have to prove your guilt in a fair, speedy, jury trial).

The right of habeas corpus has been recognized as a basic right since the Magna Carta.

McCain is reversing the progress of human rights 800 years.

It doesn’t take the great mind of an ACLU liberal to figure this out.

As Ronald Reagan said, "The very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism." McCain, once again, betrays conservative values of limited government and God-given property rights. His is the view that the state is supreme.

Liberty and justice for all. But for McCain…just the privileged few. Just pray that you stay in the good graces of an arbitrary McCain government, because where the government grants "rights," it can take them away. So watch yourself dissenters...especially because McCain has a "volcanic temper." Will the American people let this man be the next `decider`?

Are the Democrats Insane or Stupid?

at the same time that democrats demand oil companies solve the "energy crisis" by invesitgating "alternative energy" (yes, i love doing sarcastic quotes on pop-culture terms) they threaten to rob and pillage the very profits which allow such investigations to take place! am i a fan of record high prices at the pump? um, no. but i do understand that we have those prices due to a weak dollar and not because of an oil executive`s high salary.

there is no supply problem. growth in other consumer nations are not much of a factor at all because Russia is able to offset much of that consumption growth, especially in Asia. federal taxes on gas aren`t even much of a factor. the Federal Reserve U.S. dollar is not worth much, that`s it! that`s the problem. we buy oil from nations with dollars and it takes more dollars to get the same amount of oil. the dollar is weaker because of our massive debt and our continued policy of international bullying.

want a solution? here you go:

1. end the war in Iraq today and bring all the troops home. (if you don`t know how this would help then please email me for an explanation of how we pay for the "war" or just google welfare/warfare state economics.)
2. end the privatized central bank scheme which finances all our wars and profits from the boom bust cycles that are imposed on our economy.
3. slash the federal government back to it`s real purpose (see the US Constitution for an explanation) and get us out of drug wars, literacy wars, AIDS wars, immigration wars, and all other useless WARS THEY CREATE WITH OUR LABOR!
4. empower the people by deregulating trade, that`s FREE TRADE! a 24 volume government rule book is NOT free trade at all.

also, here`s one for the Obama fans... did you know he`s a big fan of the police state? oh yes, he and McCain are good buddies when it comes to Big Brother and War... enjoy your "change", for better or worse.

War and Inflation

"I say to the sincere Right, if you really want to limit the state, you will have to give up your dreams of remaking the world at the point of a gun. Wars and limited government are impossible. Moreover, you must stop ignoring the role of monetary policy. It is a technical subject, to be sure, but one that we must all look into and understand if we expect to restore something that resembles the American liberty of the founders.

I say to the sincere Left, if you really want to stop war and stop the spying state, and put an end to the persecution of political dissidents and the Guantánamo camps for foreign peoples, and put a stop to the culture of nationalism and militarism, you must join us in turning attention to the role of monetary policy. The printing presses must be unplugged. It`s true that this will also hit programs that are beloved by the Left, such as socialized health care and federalized education programs. But so long as you expect the state to fund your dreams, you cannot expect that the state will not also fund the dreams of people you hate.

And let me say a few words to libertarians, who dream of a world with limited government under the rule of law, a world in which free enterprise reigns and where the state has no power to interfere in our lives so long as we behave peacefully. It is completely absurd to believe that this can be achieved without fundamental monetary reform. And yet, until the most recent Ron Paul campaign — and aside from Murray Rothbard and the 26-year-long work of the Mises Institute — I don`t recall that libertarians themselves have cared much about this issue at all."

McCain And Obama Are No Different On Iraq

i guess the obama "fans" won`t ever grasp this concept, but obama is just as much a warmonger as mccain... i wish the retail media would be honest enough to make this common knowledge.

Establishment leaders would have us believe that Presidential Candidates John McCain and Barack Obama offer vastly dissimilar proposals for Iraq but in reality, there is virtually no difference between their plans.

Follow this link to the original source: "McCain on His Hopes for His First Term"

In a recent major speech, Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain outlined his vision for the future and described what he desires to have achieved by end of a first term in office. The defining portion of the speech was his description of what he hoped the situation in Iraq would be, under his leadership, by 2013.

“By January 2013, America has welcomed home most of the servicemen and women who have sacrificed terribly so that America might be secure in her freedom. ... The United States maintains a military presence there, but a much smaller one, and it does not play a direct combat role.”

Senator McCain and other leading Republicans would have American voters believe that this is a drastic change from the “cut and run” policies offered by Democratic candidates like Barack Obama. Likewise, Democratic leaders promote the notion that their candidate offers a plan for immediate withdrawal. They must be hoping that voters do not listen to what their candidate actually says.

Barack Obama, the alleged peace candidate of the 2008 elections, was asked if he would pledge to have all U.S. troops out of Iraq by 2013. His response was: “I think it’s hard to project four years from now and I think it would be irresponsible. We do not know what contingency will be out there. … I don’t want to make promises, not knowing what the situation‘s going to be three or four years out.”2

The alleged peace candidate who has made his opposition to the Iraq war a centerpiece of his campaign cannot even promise that the U.S. will be out of Iraq by 2013! Senator Obama also has stated: “This withdrawal would be gradual, and would keep some US troops in the region to prevent a wider war and go after Al Qaeda and other terrorists.” Even Obama’s own website proclaims, “he will keep some troops in Iraq to protect our embassy and diplomats; if al Qaeda attempts to build a base within Iraq, he will keep troops in Iraq or elsewhere in the region to carry out targeted strikes on al Qaeda.”3 One has to wonder if Obama plagiarized those plans from McCain himself due to the extreme similarities.

Perhaps the similarity in approach to foreign policy can be explained by the fact that they both shared the same foreign policy advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski. Brzezinski is a committed globalist, one of the most instrumental members of the Council on Foreign Relations and a founding member of the Trilateral Commission. Volumes more can be written about Brzezinski’s hawkish stands on foreign policy and his disdain for non-interventionism as well as his desire for global governance. What is important to note is that Republican John McCain had Brzezinski as his foreign policy advisor for his 1999-2000 Presidential campaign.4 Now Barack Obama has Brzezinski as one of his principal advisors. 5 It should be a red flag to the American public when their two choices for Presidential office are so casually sharing advisors.

Another matter, which should be a concern to those who might actually believe Senator Obama is the peace candidate, are his stated desires to expand the U.S. military as well as intervene in Africa, another policy initiative that he shares with Senator McCain. Combine this with the fact that the U.S. has more troops in Iraq now than it did before Democrats took control of Congress and it becomes much harder to perceive the Democrats as the self-proclaimed party of peace.

Both Senators McCain and Obama share the same disregard for the U.S. Constitution and embrace the globalism and interventionism that has bankrupted our great nation. These similarities do not end with foreign policy. From illegal immigration to global warming, both John McCain and Barack Obama seem to be walking in lockstep. It appears that another Presidential election is upon us where the two candidates are virtually indistinguishable from one another when it comes to the most pressing issues of the day.
